Elements of My Mom

The wind blows greeting my cold night, 
The fire flares up in my heart, 
The water keeps flowing down my cheeks, 
Fusing to create my deep void. 

It's been long since I felt... 
Your wind,  
Which has always made me cool, 
When restlessness strikes my heart.  

It's been long since I felt... 
Your water, 
Which always relieves my thirst,  
When no one else could.

It's been long since I felt... 
Your soil,  
Which always kept my roots, 
With the hope to become the strongest.  

It's been long since I felt... 
Your fire,  
Which always kept my spirit burning,  
That kept the flare alive.  

And now... 
I am missing you,  
I am missing your elements,  
The encouranging elements of my life.
